| 90 days of hair |
there's this guy in edinburgh who's gearing up to do a sponsored hair growth thingy, starting in the new year. he's going to wet-shave his head and beard and then just let it grow for 3 months, hence the "90 days". gonna look pretty awful by the end of it if u ask me but that's the price of love.
you can select which charity(s) you want your sponsorship money to go towards. there are a mix of local and overseas charity choices and all of them are good. at the end of the 90 days he's gonna invite bidders (or groups of bidders) to wage an auction war for the right to dictate his hair/beard style, which he will then sport for a further 7 days.
the cause is good, the effects should be more than marginal, i recommend you link to him. yes it is just an excuse to give a bit of cash to make a noticable difference but nowt wrong with that i say. |
