Tenuosity |
Hello. Toys without irony is a webring for plush toys, or "soft" toys. I found MonsterFactory (sample pictured above) which is part of it. MonsterFactory has connections with Toronto-based writer's collective Tuesday. Someone who is involved with the Tuesday group has also been to a meeting of Dorkbot, which is a .. well, i'm not sure which, according to Wikipedia, is "a group of affiliated organizations worldwide that sponsor meetings of artists, engineers, and designers working in the medium of electronic art".
Anyway, there might be one in Edinburgh soon.

scarborough |
How do they choose the towns they show on the front of national roadmaps and similar atlases? Is there a rule or formula: Average number of roundabouts ÷ incidences of bird-related injury? Or just where a mapmaker's grandparents once dreamt of retiring to? |
